Dear Parents and Students,
We have been learning about endangered species in science and social studies this week. To enforce the objectives we will be assigning the Florida Endangered Species project. The project will be due on October 17th. The students will be expected to make a diorama of the animal's habitat. A diorama is a box that includes, the animal and its surroundings. The students will also be required to write a paragraph that illustrates why they picked the animal with at least 5 interesting facts. They will be required to present their diorama to the class on October 17, 2011.
